Case Details
The patient is a woman in her mid 40’s who had breast augmentation approximately 10 years ago by another surgeon. She was ultimately dissatisfied with movement of her implant within the pocket and feeling overall too large for her frame. She then had implant removal and breast lift (mastopexy) / reduction by a second surgeon. A year later, she presented to Dr. Wigod seeking more superior fullness and some size increase. She had maximal improvement with a high profile 415 cc silicone cohesive implant. Additional synthetic mesh was used to support the implant for maximal superior fullness and limit lateral / inferior implant movement.
